Recovery is a lifelong adventure that I try to embrace. I haven't gambled in 5+ years and it feels marvelous. I remind myself everyday whether I want to be locked up in a cage again or enjoy every day of my life being free. Hope your all well.

Before recovery I had some pretty convoluted ideas, not about only my life, but also others. Dare I say I didn’t think of myself as a know-it-all, but I’m sure I came off as that with my words of wisdom & annoying advice. It’s okay to laugh, today I can truthfully say I’m changing. It was nice to realize I know less than I thought I did about others, myself and life. I’m loving discovering new ideas about life, others and myself. #1 discovery - my inner child, hello me.
Before I end my 2 cents, I want to say recovery saved my life. A gambling addiction can lead to insanity, I was there. My life was completely and utterly out of control. I hated myself with a vengeance. Man, did I need a change! Recovery is my survival.
