I could start quitting once I placed in my mind that this is a disease and I am sick. Period. So when it comes the temptation to spend money on gambling, first I remember how difficult is to make up those money and then I tell my self that I am sick and can not do that. It worked until now.. but of course, is one day at time. Hope you go also to the GA meetings.. they are not close to my place but I read here and this is enough to make me realize how sick make this disease and how lucky we are for every single day we stay away from gambling. I didn't do this before but I am counting the days, today is 10. Big hug.. your children and family is more important than any machine so keep fighting against this disease.
