I was never this scared

My life is in so much mess that I tried taking my own life.

I thought I was ready. I was asleep for 4 days. But I know my mind was wide awake. I was so scared to die.

I am not ready yet.

This is a tough battle, I need professional help. I am meeting a psychologist for the first time on Thursday, and will go counselling and therapy.

I surrender. I can't do this alone.

For all you out there who are thinking to take their own lives. That is not the answer. It is not even an option.

Charmed I feel your pain. I can relate to how you feel even though I did not try to take my life it did cross my mind. It was 16 years go that I started seeking professional help after being admitted to a mental health facility. It was the first time I was diagnosed with severe depression which attributed to my compulsive gambling. Your post today reminded me that I missed my appointment last month because I was too embarrassed to admit I was in full binge gambling mode. I don't. I woke up with only my roommate in the hospital.

I was all alone whole Monday, until my colleagues dropped by.

Now, I am home recovering alone too. But in the next hour my roommate will be home already. I should be ok :)

I don't know about you, but when I'm feeling blue, I sure need hugs. yea, I know, what a big baby! but it helps.

We are all just so grateful that you were unsuccessful. I do believe that probably 90% (if not higher) have had thoughts of suicide and death. To relieve the self-loathing and anguish we feel while in the depths of our addiction. I'm sure everyone knows it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, but I know that sometimes, we don't feel like we have any options.

I am so glad that you were unsuccessful. I have thought about taking my life so many times but thank God I did not go through with it. Life is so hard sometimes but I do know that God is always there for us. All we have to do is speak to Him. All of love is being sent to you on tonight.
