Boy This sounds just like me. Everyday I wake up wanting to go gamble. I have scaped togather pennys for it. I have been sleeping all day long so I won't leave the house because it has gotten so bad that everytime i leave the house I end up there. Its amazing always find a way to gamble but not to do the things I really need to do. So you did win and it was Big.

Wow Recovering CG and work in a casino is amazing.. But we do have a friend that is a recovering drug addict and is a pharmacist. He is doing well but attends five meetings a week.

YUP, i sure did win. someone asked about casino stories. me as a dealer, i try to take the focus off the money and the gambling for players as well as me. i say the most stupid and ridiculous things to make people talk to me like a person, and to make me not think of the cards so much as well. like people start complaining and i say, you think you got problems, im not wearing underwear, they usually laugh at me, or people ask me what they should do in reguards to their blackjack hand, and i say dont ask me, last time i got lucky i got pregnant. i just threw those in there for the one who wanted to hear some stores. lol. but i do hate working in the industry. i see people who are in over their heads, and i know the pain, know the antics, know they dont have the money they pretend to have.
especially the "nice" people. the assholes i could care less about honestly. i think working in the casino makes it harder to look at money as money, being on both sides, its so ironic.
