Jan 4 was my last bet and I have really had true recovery because I broke through the very thick wall of DENIAL. I really saw and accepted the absolute fact that I am a compulsive gambler and I wanted to get well and arrest this illness.. I go to 3 GA meetings per week, and have a great sponsor. I g'm going to counseling as well. I am doing the work because I know that this addiction will kill me. the addict in me wants me to die which is so totally insane.
I feel so much better and my life situations are getting improving. I really see how important step ! of the 12 steps is. Really getting it in my heart has made a big difference. I love all of you for being here and letting me share this wonderful news!
