Hey, Praying, Haven't heard how it went. I hope this is one of those cases where no news, is good news. Hopefully you are too busy making arrangements for your new position that you haven't been on lately. I have been keeping you in my prayers.

Thank you guys! Good news and bad news...I got the job offer! However, I was sent the wrong contract information. This job salary is half of what I thought it was...so there goes the "dream" job... Basically, I was looking at a contract that was offering the same salary I make full time in a part-time position. This was not the case. This job is a hike, which I would not have minded for the salary I thought it was. Also, this job is only temporary for a year. I can't give up my permanent job security.. They may need me in a year, but no guarantees, and I don't like to take chances like that (HA! Funny coming from a compulsive gambler, huh?) So, after I talked it over with my hubby, and listened to my gut, I have made the decision to keep my current job and hope something comes along. My apologies for the anticipation! I was very disappointed that the contract was wrong and this is only temporary. None of this was disclosed in the first publishing of the job or in my initial interviews.
However, I am ok with this! I feel like things are happening for a reason. I am a little over 8 weeks GF and starting to feel human again! I want to thank you guys for all of your support with gambling and this job thing... You guys didn't even know me and were sending me prayers and great thoughts. Just know how much I appreciate you guys! I really love this site and feel like you are my friends even though we've never met! :) Anyway, have a great week, and thanks again for everything!! :)

The end result, as I see it, is that you were deemed the best candidate, most qualified for the job. Hang your hat on that and feel good about it! In this job market, that speaks volumes !

Keep up the fantastic progress! I'm convinced that each one of life's unfurling experiences happen for a very specific reason - and day-by-day we gain greater insight as to why.

Hey, I'm a big believer in listening to your inner voices, well not the crazy ones LOL!, and going with your gut.

I think things happen in life for a reason. Sometimes they make you see things as they are at the moment and sometimes they happen in the long run.

well hey at least ya found out all this before ya started that job cause it would of been a hell of a kick in the teeth to find out later. hell nothing lossed on the venture and no worse for trying. sometimes just takes a bit more foot work to get what we want when it comes to jobs so always pays to try when it comes to bettering ourselves.
