In treatment there is tons of support now I feel kinda alone in my recovery in the process of finding my place in this. I dont know if what Im saying makes sence but its a scary place to be right now . I quess I should have thought about this weeks ago and got more connected in a group. I havent had any urges to gamble . I just dont feel connected the way I should be. Thanks for letting share

I didn't even know they offered in patient treatment for this? may I ask where? my counselor, whom I had to search high and low for, thank God I found him,did say the mental health field finally recognized gambling addiction as an addiction, but wasn't aware of inpatient therapy! please any input would be appreciated...I am in a town that doesn't WANT you to get better...THEIR livelihood depends on you staying addicted..how sad...even the gam-anon for my spouse wasn't a good experience,in the form of not being helpful, because all they told him was to divorce me..I'm blessed he loves meand is supporting me through my recovery..my hubby wanted to learn how he could cope better...thick and thin..I hate what this has done to him...we do not keep score cards and have been together 23 years...

Hi everyone Thanks for your support. like eastwester said I have the tools I know what I need to do. Since I just got out of treatment it feels strange not having a bunch of work to do everyday. Steps, life story,Good Bye letter to gambling on and on. I feel like I need to be doing something besides going to meetings.Like eastwester said I need to keep going to meetings, do my best and let God look after all the rest. Thanks for sharing that with me. Today I feel more calm it seems like each week that goes bye my nerves are getting better. I am still looking for a sponsor and going to meetings. Itsl hard for me to talk in meetings but I quess it will get better over time. For the person that asked about were they have treatment. i live in Vegas and they have one of the best outpatient treatments in the country. ITS free if you cant afford to go other wise it cost $10 aday. The casinos and other sponsors pay to help problem gamblers get help.before the casinos and sponsors got involved this treatment cost over $30,000 for the 6 weeks. I am so grateful I was able to go. Wasnt easy but I dont think I would have ever stopped. I have no desire or urges to gamble today but I know this is only a beginning and still need to stay in GA. ITS not a 6 week cure. Anyway hope everyone has a greatday gamble free.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
