Yesterday I did something different that I hadn't done in a long time... to keep myself occupied and keep the urges away! I have a love for animals, particularly dogs and cats and there was a rescue group that contacted me to work the rescue yesterday and I committed to it and DID it!!! Anyway, it really was fun - promoting the dogs to people that were looking and I ended up getting an e-mail this morning saying that our group had adopted out 9 dogs to good homes!!!! It felt good to be a part of something beneficial and to help in the community; there are so many homeless animals out there that need us!!
Just thought I'd share this - - -it was a much better feeling than the incredibly stressful ride home. :]

So, anything we do positive or even when don't do anything and just rest, its all good. Taking us one more step away from gambling.

Wonderful, fulfilling , experience ....I am certain of that! it feels soooo good doing things like that, because it's for a worthy cause. Not to mention, what it does for our self esteem-the very thing we frivolously sold for the sake of feeding our addiction.
