Today, I don't compare myself to other people and what they do or don't do really doesn't really concern me. I know that whatever I encounter or what others bring to the table, I trust myself enough to handle the situation and make decisions that are in my best interest. Not rejecting or hurting anyone, simply taking care of and embracing me. Discernment. Wisdom is a gift!
NO ONE IS PERFECT! We are human and perfectly flawed. I love and accept myself the good, bad and ugly, the later two, I constantly work on casting out and/or improving.
GOD BLESS
Those were the questions I began to ask myself. I have a PhD in ME! Most people don't know who the hell they are, so when people say things about me, I'm not phased in the least because they don't know me and that isn't because I don't want to be known. Evident by all the info that I put on here. People that know me or have spent any time with me at work, they will be able to say, Yvegas is _____, I know it!
With all that being said, I'm not above correction or taking someone else observations of me into consideration. For the most part, I know when to tone me down or up. I know what makes me tic and toc. That didn't just happen. I invested in me. I am invested in me. When all is said and done, all I have is me. Friends come and go. People die and say goodbye. Man will leave and forsake you, but the only other constant in my life besides me is GOD. And that's a good thang. Be Blessed.
I do think most people have something not necessarily to hide but something that they would rather other people didn't know or find out.
To make it more clear, like some people may not get to know their neighbors and stay to themselves even though they would like to be more social, because they may have some flaw or secret they don't want them to find out... like their kids act up or their husband is abusive. That is not "hiding" but just not putting themselves in a position to be found out.
I hope that makes sense.
