It is now day 9 and I am feeling wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. Gosh what a relief. I still have urges and am aware those feelings (demons) will stick with me for a good while. Those feelings are incredible... I just hear the thought of football or Olympics and I immediately get thoughts of wagering.
I have paid down some gambling debt and that felt good, only $2,000 left and that should clear the bill clean. That should trigger more healing and a sense of moving forward. I've been enjoying my time with my family and doing gardening. I hope everyone is hanging tough, we can do this!

While watching some of the Summer Olympic Trials yesterday, I couldn't help but think about these young athletes and their journeys. The diligent investment of their time and tremendous efforts, all with a focused determination towards achieving their personal best.
An interesting parallel much like our own journeys to be GF, wouldn't you agree? We'll all have a coveted spot on that team if we keep working it, keep focused, and keep fueling the fire in our bellies to experience the opportunity of a lifetime!!!
