Happy New Years! Well I made into the new year GF. It wasn’t the best birthday yesterday after having my son bail me out. I still have no cell service but at least we have a roof over our head. I worked from home yesterday and when I was done I sat down to write a budget. The fact of the matter is I earn really good money but wasted so much over the last few months gambling because I was fooling myself that I was short for expenses every month. Hello dumb dumb I was only short because I was losing money gambling every month. Funny how a compulsive gambler can lie so much especially to themselves. I still have a lot of depression and anxiety. I am waiting for an intake call from the Pyschology dept to get back to seeing my doctors. I need to see my therapist again and maybe even go back on meds. I have suffered with these conditions for so long. I love my family, I love my job and love my life GF. So I really want to make this New Year count for something. My resolution is to remain GF. To seek any assistance from any resource that may help me remain GF. Day 4 and I am GF. xoxo CG
Happy belated birthday, Happy New Year and Happy day four gambling free. I can sense that you’re haggling on for dear life, that’s good, life is dear. Reading your post reveals that you have a great deal to be thankful for, and that reminded me of all that I have to be grateful for, too. I’m glad you’re addressing your depression and anxiety, give yourself time to heal. Slowly and steadily.
