Day 3 and I remember this sickening feeling too well. The aftermath of having to deal with my actions. The anxiety is so bad I feel like my heart will explode. I already asked my son for the bailout money. That is the most humiliating thing I had to do is ask my 22 year Son for money. I hope I remember this feeling for the rest of my life. I feel so guilty and ashamed that I hurt both my children. I already am taking steps to remain GF. Firstly I found on the UCLA Gambling Studies Program list of therapist that offer free 8 week sessions. Found one therapist near me. Secondly l called in on Saturday to a telephone meeting. Just listened this time. Not ready to share or I would have cried the entire time. Thirdly make an appointment for my own therapist. Time to deal with my depression. Haven’t taken medicine to help me for over a year. Fourthly I am going to take one financial problem at a time. They will not all be solved with the bailout but I will no longer ignore them and think they can be solved by gambling. Today I will remain GF.

It is a huge step to accept that we cannot get ahead by gambling. Good work on seeking out free counseling sessions. I owe my life to GA, counseling and good friends/family that love me. I won't be gambling today.
