Am feeling much better now. I know it's going to be an uphill battle but so worth it in the end.
soooooooo, when we remove gambling from our lives, we have a lot of free time that we need to fill with meaningful activities. I've been on this recovery path since Feb 28, with a relapse on June 26. and it is a struggle. but like you said rosy29, it is so worth this battle!.. hang in there with us!

Either I was really ready to quit or it just hasn't hit me yet because I haven't really had any bad urges to gamble. I have fleeting thoughts but they just pass right on by.
I usually get my check, pay what bills I have to and then gamble the rest, ending up broke on the day I get paid. First time in years I have money in the bank. Feels pretty dang good.
