My state pays for counseling for problem gamblers and their loved ones from lottery monies. I was suicidal, and broke in every way when I walked into treatment. I was not sure I COULD quit gambling.
It has been over four years since my last bet and my life has color, friends, community and meaning again. You too can get help and get done gambling, it is not easy, it takes commitment and hard work but less energy than trying to keep gambling.
