My new grandson had his first major surgery yesterday and did very well. Something to be thankful for!
Glad to hear something you are grateful and thankful for - I have a grand-niece that has had 40 surgeries already at age 14, she is my hero. She is so resilient, positive and strong with an ability to care about others that are less fortunate than she, even in the midst of facing really tough stuff. While recovering from her last surgery she launched a successful fundraising campaign to buy 30 iPads for the special education class that she volunteers with, so that all the non-verbal kids have one now to use to communicate.
When I think of what she has gone through my problems seem pretty small.
