well im officaly 48hrs of not gambling! i went and bought some iceceam to help curvw the crave lol...it helped! alot cheaper then the casino !!!!!!

48 hours is a good start. You have made up your mind. Get into a twevle step program you need support. Kepp up the good work.

Ice Cream does help, try some other coping strategies too though, with the objective of not just making a new addiction to replace the old. Try walking, artwork, pasta, (really good mac and cheese helped me some), a GA group, any other group, a class, a book club, volunteer, eat your favorite fruit, (or find out what it is), dancing, singing, gardening, gratitude diary, journaling, and prayer. Right now the ONLY important part is just to NOT gamble. You have a good attitude and a good start, keep it up, I know you can do this.

Just proud I have it went I two days !! I'm not going to be hard on myself for what I choose to do instead of gambling .. Obviously I will not eat icecream every night lol
