I have not been on the site for a few weeks. I have been very busy. Last night I was surprised and annoyed at the change. I actually like change. It was the fact that I might not find all my friends. "Oh no, what happen to everyone?" For some reason they thought change was necessary, so I will figure it out.

I don't really like the new layout. Too much banner and not enough content shows. There are a few other things in layout I think would make it more user friendly but it is faster. It zips around from one page to another. I did not like the small space to type a post in and then I realized that the text box can be expanded as big as I want it.
It would be nice to not have a great big banner with the definition of gambling addiction at the top of the page and then be able to see all the most recent threads posted, with WHO posted the last response. (So I don't have to click on my own posts again. ) With that it would be nicer to see more of the threads and less of the actual post of each initial thread, again so that a user can see what has new posts by whom.

The banner with the definition of gambling addiction is only relevant to someone who is arriving to the group for the first time, after that is old redundant news. It would be nice to have the option to close that great big banner. I would like the system to quit notifying me that I made a post.
I would like to see just the titles of my support groups and not the pictures - the pictures are not relevant to the subjects anyway. I only have 8 support groups on here, I should not have to scroll to see them all. I do not need to know trending or most popular support groups - I do not choose them based on trend or popularity and I don't imagine anyone else does.
Perhaps the programmers or other powers that be, will listen to the feedback and make some tweaks in the upcoming weeks. Good to see you here marieh2.

U know I did have some problems getting on this new Ds . It took me days to finally get on here. Saidy name and password wasn't correct. I finally asked to reset it and it worked. But I was very frustrated at first.

yes it took me days to get on as well and a few frustrated emails. One in all caps saying I needed to get on to my support group, it was starting to mess with my recovery. But I am so glad it is up and running and familiar faces are tricking in now. I would still like a few tweaks but it is back to serving its purpose in allowing us to have a platform.
