At 30 days, I was afraid still, that I did not have the ability and/or backbone to quit gambling. I still did not believe that I deserved something better from my life. I was still punishing myself and abusing myself and I did not like it one bit, but it is what I believed/was convinced of since I was a young child that I deserved.
I am living proof that beliefs and attitudes and life can change. I think life will change anyway. It can change by consciously making changes, a step/day, at a time. Or it will change if I do nothing, but it will generally change in a negative way if I am not consciously living to the fullest.
Good work on making it to 30 days.
