So its been three weeks since my last blunder. That was also my last crazy post. Since then I have been to 2 phone GA meetings, which started to get me to have a goal to share with my peers by not going tthru the vicious cycle.
I also visited Chicago, my hometown, where I was surprised to not have any urges, since I felt I was around my friends and people who care about me constantly.
Waiting for the call to start tonight and figured i would share the steps Im taking to be GF!!
I find these calls to be helpful, if anyone wants to join, please do. Who knows if it can do you some good as it has been for me.

I have participated in a couple of the Wednesday phone meetings and for me they are nearly as good and certainly as helpful as a face to face GA meeting or support group. The drawback is not getting to know people in your own vicinity.
It is interesting that you had no urges when around people who care about you constantly. I just watched a video on addiction that talks about our human nature is to bond, since we are social beings. If we don't bond with people we will bond with something.
