11 months ago today, I self-banned, and I have not been in a casino since.
I would like to say the following has happened:
*I got married to the love of my life.
*I lost 25 pounds and am now a size 0/2.
*I became a regular runner.
*My business has increased in revenue by 3x over last year.
*I take better care of myself -- styled hair, pressed clothes, perfume.
*I'm much calmer and happier and more grateful and gracious overall.
It wasn't easy. Sometimes I still get really strong urges. But I wouldn't have been able to do it without all of you and this group. You've kept me from going over the edge, and I really, truly appreciate it. I wouldn't have the blessings I do in my life today if it weren't for you.

Great that you've achieved major changes and made your life much fuller and HAPPIER.
I agree that this board at DS is wonderful. I love being able to access this site during times of weakness or insomnia.
