Its a pretty rough surgery, in fact for the first few days you will probably feel worse than you do now.. I wont lie to you. I was having really bad attacks, one stone was actually stuck, I was a huge mess for the week prior to my surgery. I am now 1month post op and feel GREAT! I was back to work within 2 weeks and could have went back a week ear;ier than that. Just take it one day at a time and have help around to give your body time to recover. I promise in time you will feel better than you have in a while... Good luck. When are you going in? If you have any questions let me know!

ok everyone is different but just a lil warning because no one told me this if you are getting the scopic one *where they make 4 lil incisions* well they pump you with gas and no one told me that i could have muscle pain in my chest and i did. i was in a lot of pain had to go to the ER twice once because i thought i had a blood clot or heart attack or something. plz dont be scared it is actually a good thing. they told me i would have a bit a shoulder pain becuz that is where the gas settles but nothing about muscle pain in my chest. but now i am almost 3 weeks out and i am starting to feel pretty good just keep an eye on your incisions and watch for infection and DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!!! you will be fine hun its not bad i was scared just like you, trust me after everything settles it is well worth it!!! Thank you for your replies, my operation should be mid March.
Pain is sore most of the time just hope I can put up with it until the operation.

I'm scared but a early appointment has come through so I'm having the keyhole surgery on Monday 18/02/08 in the morning, hope to let you know how it went later.
