I had no experience with Yorkies when we got her and I'm learning as I go. I had a lot of experience with dogs, just not terrier breeds. She's into EVERYTHING. I'm serious, we had to 'baby/puppy proof' our house head to toe. It's so funny to watch her ..She will go and collect all her toys and line them up like little soldiers all in a row, right in the doorway of the living room and bedroom. It's an everyday thing, so at night we collect them back up and put them in her toy box again. She is not happy unless they are lined up there.
She adds 'odd' things to her collections too... Bottle caps ..coins..(we take those fast) but she loves coins. We kept finding coins on the floor and could not figure out what she was doing to get them so we watched her one night. We have a desk with a lower level that my hubby will put his pocket change on..and she went and stretched out as LONG as her little body would allow and one at a time moved the coins to the edge so they fell off. Then she picked them up and added them to her collection. She had TONS of toys of all kinds but has a thing for coins and anything shiny.
She's 6 inches tall at the shoulder now and is about 12 inches long.. and looks like a feather duster! She is up to 3.14 pounds..and is a hoot! She will be a year old in a couple months.. Time flies.
She sends her love and I send mine! Hugs to all... Rach
