Friends til the end Community Group
A group for those of us here who get more from our friendships than from the available discussion groups. A place to be accepted and appreciated for who we are. Somewhere to always feel safe and know that especially on the bad days we are here for each other .A place for encouragement and love.

WHEN I SURVIVED OPEN HEART SURGERY AFTER 4 HEART ATTACKS IN ONE MONTH. MY ODDS WERE 1 IN 1,000. I WAS TOLD TO PUT MY AFFAIRS IN ORDER AND TO DO IT QUICKLY. HA! FOOLED THEM!

Three years ago I had to have another emergency major surgery. I had no choice. It was either have this operation or die. The surgeon said that the only way for me to survive would be my attitude. I knew I had to live. I just was not ready to die. So the event happened. While I was having the operation slowly my family was arriving to give love and support. After several hours the operation was done. Then I was taken to ICU. When I was slowly coming awake, I was in such pain. I remember my surgeon being there and talking to me. I do not remember his words. But much later I was totally waking up. My dear surgeon was at my side. Also, all my family was coming into my view. I later on could think. My thoughts were full of the fact that I was alive. My dear surgeon had even prayed with my family. He told my family that I had survived the operation, He then told them that from that moment on I was in God's Hands. He was just so afraid that I would not survive. So he arranged for me to be taken from ICU to my private room. He felt that the love and support from my family was what I needed . Obviously, I survived.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
