alone: I was alone until I met my Sara online & we've been together 6.5 years. I could not find work, and sara said "retire". I had my stroke & she took me home anyway even though I couldn't cook & clean lik I used to & the rehab nursing home told her she didnt have to take me home. Now I am going into assisted living (no sara, no kitties, no home). I guess I would say the glass is 1/2 full...keep your chin up & hang in there. Gene

I do understand. One day on top of the world and the next I want to drive my car into a brick wall. I feel that I have no friends, I don't fit in, like I am some kind of alien among people. Just try to remember the good days.. and remember that nothing ever stays the same. It will change. I am reading the Art of Power by Thich Nhat Hanh. The title is misleading, it is about how to change our suffering internally. To look inward to analyze why we feel the way we do at times and to be mindful to relieve some of the pain. I live with pain every day, these fundamentals help me through some of the really rough periods.

I do understand your pain... My mind seems to be scattered at times.... and when I get sad.... or things are out of my control.... I go back to that day I get really hurt!! Having rough periods.....speed bumps.... I can't seem to get around them. And yet I just don't walk away!!! Stress, Anxiety, Pain seem to follow me!! I know I am not alone....but than again it makes me very sad to have the company....knowing others are feeling hurt too!! Love, Kisses & Hugs.... Many prayers being sent to everyone!!

It's so refreshing!!!...and I'm tired of the struggle I have all the time too.
I'm really really tired, and no one has seemed to care...not really. It's been all about you got something I don't (like a job, etc.) so i'm going to ignore your pain & bash you. Man..my heart is just shattered.
Someone was even attacking me via yahoo messenger from here. Mean messages would just pop up...and it was someone I had opened my door to for free if needed (for she said she was homeless.) It turned out to not be the real truth.
I just want to feel safe. I just want a friend who doesn't expect me to be perfect all the time.
That book sounds good...I'll check it out.
