I read today that Brady is at a point where he has to see this through. If he were to cope a deal now he would be admitting to perjury. The 19th is the next time Goodell and Brady meet. This time in a open courtroom where all evidence presented is open for public knowledge. After that it is on to Federal Court. Neither side at this point can give ground but Goodell has the least to loose. His reputation is lousy as it is. Everyone knows he is a sleeze bag. Brady has the most to loose. Endorsements would hurt him. Plus Patriots and their fans will forever be labeled cheaters. The bad mark on Brady is his destroying his cell phone. But most people I know who get new cell phones always destroy their old ones and turn them in for recycling. The bad mark on the NFL is the Wells report showing only one ball at 2 psi under inflated. And that ball was in possession of the Colts. Probable but not is not sufficient for punishing someone.

I have my old hot pink flip phone. It's too cute to get rid of. I kind of miss that phone sometimes.

I actually loved the first phone I ever owned, it was a flip phone also. Unfortunately, it was an analog phone and when they came out with digital, I had to say good by to my favorite phone. For awhile, you could still use both together so I ended up selling it for $25 in Uncle Henry's. I doubt very much, the guy I sold it to still has it.

Tecknology changes so fast that many people want the latest and the greatest, as soon as it becomes available. I can understand those filthy rich people are just like that. Living from paycheck to paycheck, myself and most of us here can't do that so we settle for something less.

What were we talking about?

My first Cell phone was huge. Not flip open. It was almost as big as those walkie-talkies the military used in WWII. The cost was outrageous. Something like $0.25 a minute. But my boss at the time paid the bill. thing must have weighed close to 5 lbs and did not fit in your pocket.

Happy, were those the ones that came in a bag? They use to call them bag phones. I bought one at a yard sale once for a few dollars....thought I could sell it on ebay and double my money but at the time, nobody wanted it lol! I think I got my money back but I can't remember, it was so long ago.

Lol @ you Bob. I remember those phones. Bob had one . I was so impressed for some reason.. was it called a ' brick' phone?

They were huge. That much I remember. They came out in the early 1990s. Long before the smaller cells. I hated it but I did not have to pay for the calls so I got to use it somewhat.

The minutes were very expensive back then and you wouldn't want to use one unless you really had to. There were alot of "dead zones" back then so if you were able to get a signal, you considered yourself lucky.

Happy, yea maybe, they were heavy like a brick and about the same shape.
