Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

Seriously, it wasn't until I stopped ovulating that i realized how much of an effect it had on me all those years.
In retrospect, I now wish I'd sort of planned ahead for it every month, maybe made some kind of ritual of an act of self-care, you know, something other than the Five Guys fries (omg, omg) that would be 'my thing' every month. Ideally something not related to food, but it could be something like the frozen frappuccino I let myself get once every few weeks. You see what I mean - acknowledge that it's going to be a problem, and find a way to distract yourself from terrible impulsive choices by making a controlled, deliberate, smaller one.
