Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

I'm here several times a day until Feb 20 2019; I've pledged to focus on healing from this with a goal of reaching my 60th birthday, on that date, as a healthier, if obviously still imperfect, person. I keep most of my thoughts on one thread because I'm concerned about it looking like I'm trying to overwhelm the page with too many words. But often, no one else chimes in to welcome new people.
If you are up for having some real conversations about food addiction, or just sharing tips, or whatever, you can count on me to respond. I have found that writing frequently in my monster-thread holds me accountable, even if I'm not sure anyone reads it. It really, really helps. But I think usually in forums there's more back and forth with more people, and I think that would be good in this one.
Will you hang around a bit? Will you help get some conversations going here? I think a lot of people who lurk here can relate to what you've written. (Perfect mother: bam.) I think the most helpful forums are ones that have regular activity from several people. I hope you'll stay and help enervate this one.
How about we just say the heck with that and just figure out what's going to help each of us get better? I mean, it's not like it's a super-active forum with unspoken rules of etiquette.
I've used my monster thread as a journal but I've often thought it would be good to start some threads about micro-topics - I think you responded to one about 'Walktober".
Let's see if we can't get some conversations going. Let's start a thread or two that's specific, and see where that gets us. I think there's a lot of people lurking here who just feel overwhelmed.
