Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
If I could figure out a better way to manage it, I would!
I understand, though - I totally deal with any kind of stress by eating, especially, these days, relationship stress.
I've realized that I use food to comfort and soothe myself, and, so,in an effort to find other ways to soothe myself, I made a list of 10 relaxing things, and taped it up in my closet. Hopefully, I'll remember to take a bubble bath, instead of eat a bag of cookies.
