Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
Let us take our lifestyle change (eating healthier, smaller portions) one day at a time. Let us encourage one another daily to be conscientious of our thoughts, desires, and impulses. It's time to regain control over our bodies and minds. We can develop our willpower one day at a time. I struggle with will power, and my impulse to eat usually gets the better of me, but I believe if we encourage one another daily, we can succeed. I will begin by checking in every morning to discuss my meal goal for the day starting today. I have not eaten yet and the current time here in Utah is 11:23 am. I ate late last night at around 10 pm and my body (stomach) is still full. I recognize that I am still full, and will drink water to flush my kidneys and nourish my organs. Today I am craving something savory, so I will not eat until I decide what savory meal I can cook that will satisfy my palate for the day. I am going to look up some savory meal recipes today, to also train my mind to be patient, and enjoy the process of preparing my meal. I do not expect others to eat one meal a day, nor do I expect others to look up recipes, cook, etc... I have no expectations for others, only for myself.
We can do this together. We'll talk again tomorrow until then, take care.

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

Tomorrow is National Massachusetts Day!Have you ever lived in or visited Massachusetts? If so, tell us what's great about the Bay State!

I am also going for a walk but will have to bundle up. It is 16 above 0 here in Maine. That would be - 9 to people in the rest of the world.
Good luck on your diet. I will say a prayer for you.
God Bless
I just had a bratwurst cold from fridge....I ate my lunch about 1:30pm and now it is 4:15pm....I am planning to drink some hot chocolate bomb tonight it is something I am trying for first time....this lady makes them....they are a chocolate shell round like ball filled with cocoa in flavors....I got 4 to share with my girlfriend for Super bowl weekend.....but I am going to make two tonight at her house....heat milk and drop the ball into the cup to let it melt and swirl with spoon....it is probably sugary....but I do not care....
Thank you for your encouragement and for sharing how your day went. It's really cold in ME; stay warm.
I will talk to you again soon
Your hot chocolate bomb sounds delicious! I hope you enjoy it. It's not about restricting yourself entirely or limiting the things you eat; it's about moderation. I was not at all moderate in my meal at 4 am this morning and had two (not one, but two) cinnamon rolls. Not off to a good start, I know. I definitely struggle with self-control, but like everything else, it takes daily practice (in my case, moment-to-moment practice).
will talk to you soon again.
Today is a new day, I just want to take it literally one moment at a time.
I Will be back tonight at 9pm
The time is 10:21 pm. I actually did much better today and will try again tomorrow.
