Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...

I didn't like myself very much at all. I thought every container was a single serving. I had some weird need to finish the whole bag or box or whatever. I shoved food into my mouth. It didn't matter if I was physically hungry or not. I know - I really do know - how you feel right now.
I just want to make two points right now, but i'm happy to continue the conversation if you want. First, nobody has a perfect life. Some people are just really good at making things look good on social media. Life is a wonderful but messy thing, and no one escapes the mess. Don't be fooled into thinking that everyone else has their act together and you' re the outlier. that's just not true.
Second, this is a beatable thing. It's taken me a full year to reach the point where I can say that I am now a recovering food addict, not an active one. But honey, it can happen. I now eat three normal meals a day now (instead of one continuous one), treat myself occasionally, and have reached a point where I'm losing two pounds every three weeks, which is a pace that I think my body can manage until I reach my weight goal. I'm five years older than you. I have, with a lot of work, found ways to 'feed' those huge gaps I had in my heart with something other than Doritos.
You can do this. You are not alone.
