Food Addiction Support Group
An individual suffering from a food addiction disorder frequently experiences episodes of uncontrolled eating, or binging, during which they may feel frenzied or out of control. They will eat much more quickly than is normal, and continue to eat even past the point of being uncomfortably full. Binging in this way is generally followed by a period of intense guilt feelings...
I hope to be able to do that some day!
Congrats!!
Now I just have a healthy breakfast and vary this each day so that I do not get bored. I take a variety of healthy snacks to work so if I feel hungry before lunch I will have something. I take a healthy luch to work - I generally fininsh work mid afternoon so have a protein shake then I will make a healthy dinner. I have found myself at work feeling like I want to binge on rubbish - but then I will look at the clock and see its like 9.30 - and think I can't be hungry - but reflect and realise that I am just bored or stressed.
The other change I have made is that I no longer eat processed food (through personal choice) - I have the odd energy drink and that is about it!! I think this has also reduced my cravings.
