Take care and I hope you get the results you want!!!
It is a little tough for me to get through, but I haven't been diligent with it, either.
1. motivation. why are you doing this?
2. nutrition. does the food you consume contribute to your goals?
3. time. the right approach will yield massive benefits.
4. you don't have to spend money to get fit. you just don't have to.
5. less is more more.
6. if you want to lose weight for only making yourself look pretty consider the fact that, or a healthy weight that doesn't make you look like some air brushed model doesn't mean you are healthy.
7. consistancy. a lil here and there on a regular basis at first will get results and make you feel great, but will even out. You might not look like you want to look, but physically you will be healthy and fit.
8. once you get a plan of action, if you can consult a physician. Especially if you are on medications.
9. watch the sodium, and don't forget about potasium. the sodium ion, and potassium ions on a molecular level regulate metabolism in the cells. this aid, don't rely on diuretics because they affect your soidum levels (Na+ and Ka+) and can disrupt a lot functions or AP or active potential of energy reactions.
10. don't take my word for it. Research in yoru free time what might work for you depending on your nutritional, lifestyle, and sleeping habits. Stress is a prime factor also.
This list is highly generalized, but can be a good source of hit and miss approaches to feeling great, looking younger, creating that kinda glow that surround healthy people.
I bought the 30 day shred because I felt 20 minutes was something I could maintain regularly and I love that you can turn her voice off, and just have the music! I also love that you can adapt it to your level as she is -of course- quite tough!
It is ultimately about your motivation, thinking long term about results, looking after ourselves holistically and not being too hard on yourself at the same time!
Enjoy and please let me know what your fav. video is - as I may just buy more! (whats the pilates one like)?
I have the 30 day shred and I think you made a good decision. I have felt great using it on a routine basis. Stay strong, Jillian keeps you motivated through out and she has a web site too that you can refer to!
