I know so what you are saying...Im doing three jobs each one I have to juggle and keep my fingers crossed that one does not change the times as in shifts..One calls me and says I must be at a meeting ..I work seven days a week ... I could be a highly paid excutive with flash car and expenses lol..I ride to two jobs on my bike and Im barely not even getting money anywhere near my one job I had for the last fourteen years...Throw in a chronic illness which I have to have tests to see whether the conditon is allowing me to excist and a injection which I need to keep me going.... to keep the taxman and the government and banks in the lifestyle they are acustom to lol...I was in my temping job and working alongside temps and got chatting to one he just travels the world by working he picks a place and goes I wish I could be him as hes telling me wheres hes been whats hes done....But my one job a resident the other day stopped me touch my arm and said you are so lovely I smiled....The other job they said Im keeping them from going in a home as they love each other so much..I smile...My temping job the world comes to me all different languages someone finished off my time sheet and put my bag ready on the table as I was finishing a urgent job I see this gesture and smile...Im lucky just in other ways

Yes I know what both of you are saying. I work at 4 part-time jobs (all very, very part time) and too hope that they do not overlap. I know too that I sometimes do not give 100% to one of the jobs due to coming right from another job and being tired and drained. For awhile I thought we were going to make it because I worked at 3 part time jobs and one almost full time job (36 hours a week). But then the place I worked at underwent new management and they kept giving me less and less hours so I applied for this other part-time job now in the hopes of being able to do them all. But then I could not change shifts and completely lost that job. I am really feeling stressed today as I have been working on the bills. I have two children with chronic diseases. My son is being treated at one of the best hospitals in the country but it is an expensive treatment ($3,300 every time he goes). And in the last two months his car needed $950 worth of repairs. He has paid me back $400 but still we need money. One of the medical bills on my husband has threatened to use our income tax money to pay the bill. This irritates me as I have made payments on this account and have explained to them our situation and this bill is only 7 months old. I mean can you give me some time. I will pay it off. I feel so very tired of it all!!

I do try to stay positive and think of other ways that we are blessed but sometimes (like today) it is very hard. I guess I have to just keep paying everything off $10 or $20 at a time and hope that they understand.

I think you are very fortunate to have those memories. I was born into a poor family, lived on hand-me-downs and thrift store shoes. There were no vacations, trips, long weekends..only the repetitive empty promise of "next summer we are going to...." and it never happening.

Today, I am a single mom with 3 kids, an x that doesn't feel the need to support his children, and I was let go from my last job (although unemployment ruled in my favor so I am getting that at least).

While your worries are real to you, remember that there are those of us who have NEVER had those experiences..but it doesn't mean my life isn't full of joy and a real hope that I can change tomorrow.
