After going to the dentist last Tuesday, I was hoping to get a tooth pulled this Tuesday. Unfortunately I learned that is easier said then done when a person is on Warfarin.
My doctor wanted me to quit taking the pill three days before seeing the dentist but during that time, I would have to get a shot in my tummy every 12 hours to keep my blood from getting to thick... well after figuring the costs for the shots and how to get them, I figured out it would be cheaper to get a root canal then go through everything else and be a lot less stressful as well...
It has been a long week, taking antibiotics for the tooth and at nights taking pain pills to sleep... hopefully the tooth will be good enough for a root canal...

On a positive note. I have now saved $850 for my $1,000 medical bill, which I still haven't gotten... will still probably pay it with a CC first and get cash back from that and making the bill a little cheaper...

Finally, started giving my publishing rights for my CD's to an on-line comp-any, that will sell things to iphones, iPads, as well as physical CD's and even vinyl. The one CD, will become a collector's item just because of the musician in it. He is a famous jazz musician in England and folks in Europe are just starting to see that he is part of this CD... while his name is listed on the CD, I won't mention it here... so please don't ask.
I will say his music has appeared in James Bond movies and on The Deadliest Catch and odd TV Shows. Yes, I was very lucky to have him being part of this project.
It takes awhile to get everything legal and uploaded, so doing one tonight and hopefully the other CD tomorrow.
Then work will begin on getting my first two books back in print... mostly just in digital form. Anymore a physical book is a hard sell. E-books you can sell for 50 cents and make money.
And now that I'm doing business with an online audio company I can start on another long waited project. Creating MP3's with NLP, Life Coaching, and Hypnotism...
It is a goal of mine to practice NLP in my retirement and work with just a few clients...

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

sorry tooth is so bad...where in mouth is it? Back molar I assume as they usually are the ones that get root canals....I dread your time in the dentist chair....that is never fun...I have dental appointment march 12 to get tooth that I knocked filling out of actually two front top teeth that had filling in both sides between them filled again....I put it off since Nov. 1st when I was eating dinner and lost the filling while at meetup group....I do not think medicaid will cover dental...but I will submit the paid bill to them for spend down...since they prob will deny it as spend down eligible I am not going to sweat about that...I think it will run me between $140-220 for the fillings...
I've only had one filling and a nasty root canal operation in my entire life. Yet I b=rarely brush my teeth. I owe my quality of teeth to the Calcium in the milk I drank throughout my life.
Whether it brings me a lot of money or very little, it will be nice to no longer be my own "warehouse."
Just bought Blur's new single. Much better than their most recent input. Very Post-Punk influenced. :)
This really blows... I've been doing so good with monitoring my blood counts and having a great diet... this tooth will really turn things upside down for me... hopefully, not for long and hopefully no time spent in a hospital... I just pray when the tooth is pulled I clot pretty fast...
It is amazing, just to get a tooth pulled I first have to go through some medical changes with my doctor.
I will be coming off of Warfarin on the weekend. To stop my blood from getting to thick I will be making ER visits every 12 hours to get a shot in the tummy, to help keep my blood thin.
Tuesday morning get my tooth pulled and hopefully will have my final of six shots in my tummy and get back on pills. This is hoping (and praying) that after the tooth is pulled I can form a blood clot.
Heather, when they started working on the tooth, it got to the point that nothing was left but the root below the gum. He said, that a crown wouldn't last, so it wasn't worth it.
My original plans with this doing the root canal was to save money without a small fortune going to ER. After reading my insurance papers, it's not as bad as I thought... either way it was going to cost a sizable chunk of money.
The only other option I had was giving myself the shots. I have tremors, so that was out of the question. And I'm very self aware of my chest and stomach. There are a lot of large and fresh scars on it from my surgeries and just having a friend or anyone besides a nurse or doctor look at them makes me very uncomfortable...
