In lite of all the things I be readin here on Financial Challenges...
I had my time with Money... just like the song take the money and run... Yepp splat... rite up against the wall of Woe.... and I don't mean Whoa... but whoa was what I should of done longgg lonnnngggg time ago...
So How do I does it...
My monthly income is less that 1,000 dollars... and three of it's for rent... and another 1/3 is for vittles, groceries, food what ever... ya gotta eat...
I got a teenager that can eat ya outta the house one week and out grow all his clothes the next...
this kid a freakin growin machine... he's already 6 foot tall and weights in a good two something...
I just love him to pieces... he's my youngest of four children...
I go hassle with the county for assistance... wonder I aint bald from pullin out my hair... wonder how long they lock me up for pullin someelses hair.... oooops i didn't think that...
Okay what I was gonna say is to train myself to pay them dang old bills first... was to take a few envolopes and mark em like Water Bill... Electricity... Rent.... Food, cause I couldn't spell groceries then... and oh yeah, Gas...
Then I figured up just how muchins all dem bills was gonna be all totaled... and I divided that by how many pay checks we was gettin at the time... and say one a week was like 4 paychecks a month... so each bill got 1/4 of what it was till I had enough to pay next months bill... no cheatin and takin money out of the envolope... nope don't do that...
You just have to make yourself leave it the heck alone... and all them youngins too... I was so lucky my kids were real good about not takin money from the bill kitty... seein how i had em taped to the wall so me and the now ex could learn how to be more responsible... yeah rite... hey it worked for me tho... as for the ex well poor ole her...
Nope I don't get to do much, but hey i save up now... put back a big old 50 each month in a saveins be diggin in there some to buy groceries when the van breaks or something un expected comes up... but at least my bills are paid first... I'm proud of that...
See I use to go the the bar and cash my check... well most the time I drank it up and stuffed the rest in the cut off of those toppless waitresses... yepp how stupid was that... that was before I got married...
when i got married we struggled day to day, untill I learned to pay the bills first party second... You can blow 40,000 a year and still not have anything to show for it... just lookit here... nothing... zilts.. yepp...
live and learn...
It's a up hill battle but if you can learn to control the money, you will be proud of yourself... oh yeah about them credit cards.... well I aint never had one... and I keep throwin those away they keep offering me... gosh dang it...
