This community is for people who are struggling to meet financial obligations of any kind. Financial challenges include everything from the day-to-day challenges of making ends meet to managing credit card debt to bankruptcy. Get support from others who are going through similar obstacles on the road back to financial stability.
It seems as though when you feel like you are getting ahead in time, it usually happens around april, I get ahead a little bit and feel ok about my finances, and then boom, funerals, birthdays, and car troubles, and phone bill, and everything just piles up and I am back to zero balance in my bank acct.
So I am at zero for the next few days, and then I missed a total of 6 days last pay period so....tightening our belts even tighter, is going to be even harder when I don't have any room to tighten.
I am just letting out some steam, thank you guys for listening.

SO helps when he can, as he is unemployed, he does odd jobs to make it by and get his own money for himself, and when he can he helps us out.

LOL..I know what you mean..dont know about anyone else when you have money things dont seem to go wrong..although it was pointed out to me maybe things still go wrong with money its just easier to cope it..the fun of life I was saying to someone when younger I either had enough for either the heating which was gas or money for the electric didnt have enough money for both meters..I got through it LOL you would think I would be hardened to the tough times

just waiting for the other shoe to drop at times is depressing...yes I think it is just the way things go...when it rains it pours...when your in the sunshine and have extra it is so fun but hard to sock it away for the future which is what I never have been able to do...do not have two nickles to rub together ever in a savings account....

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
