Financial challenges include everything from the day-to-day challenges of making ends meet to managing credit card debt to bankruptcy. This is what has always been the goal of my website and it has been self-sufficient for over three years and will be this way for at least ten more years IF I don't re-invest any of the money it has made back into it...

My first paid ad didn't happen until I was on the internet for seven years. And once it starts it seems like more ad companies have found me.
Our advertising though is set for two different audiences. Mine is a global website... so I can accept ads from anyone for just about anything.
The main goal of your website is local. Let insurance companies and even car dealers know about your site... at first just to get your foot in the door, try setting up a link exchange with that business.
That you will place an ad on your site for them if they place an ad on their site about you. Future advertisers need to see that there is an ad or two on your site and eventually they'll start contacting you.
It's not a quick money making process... it takes patience and time... but as time passes you can still start laying the groundwork and the best way is with link exchanges.
And yes, your site has the potential to sell ads...
The more I was thinking about it, your site would be good for food joints too. Imagine an ad by Dairy Queen. "After your lesson stop in for a cone"
Just start letting people know about your site... even find a way to list your site on your car...
