This really isn't a heavy-duty problem. Rather, I'm "polling the audience" to get some opinions.
My husband is in California for 2 weeks. ( He's been gone a week). He always shovels the driveway after snow falls "because I like the exercise". I'm in charge of shoveling the area in front of the garage so we can get the car out.
Realizing we might have storms while he is gone, I made arrangements with my next door neighbor to snow-blow me out . We've had 2 storms - one 15 inches and one 10. He's taken care of each. I want to do something for him - would you rather have cash or a gift card to a local restaurant? ( both about 40 dollars) .I just curious. Thanks

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

With money he may end up paying a bill or doing maintenance on his snow blower... with a gift card he actually gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor and while he is eating he will be thinking (and thanking) you for the gift...
a Visa Gift card to be used for wherever they want. Don't forget the
Gift card fee that about 3 or 4 dollars.
