how to feel worthy?

Recently i moved to a new town and have been homeless and jobless with 4 kids. I moved here to have a better life but it seems like i was better off where i was. Im beginning to be depressed. I don't wanna be and im praying and begging God to take away this depression but nothing is helping. I've even considered giving my kids to my parents and just committing suicide. Any advice?

your depression can be related to no money coming in...I know for me I get that depression when the money is not there...and your kids need their momma....no way you should be thinking those thoughts beyond just thinking them....I have dealt with major depression and suicide attempts and I no longer take off that direction even when the thoughts come I block them as NO POSSIBILITY and you should too....what type of work are you looking for and what kind of town do you live in? There should be lots of retail positions coming onto the market as Christmas season starts to move forward....I guess I would not want to be a retail person now because it is not making enough money and can be stressful in holiday season but if nothing else happens it is possible....hugs pm me if you want...bill

You are both right. Last night I went to church and it was as if God spoke directly to me. Since my post I received a couple of job offers and after church my soul has been lifted. Having four people who depend on you is hard when it seems you are letting them down but I know through Faith God will provide. For a moment I lost sight and became depressed, truly I am thankful to you for your support and encouragement. God bless.

it is very hard and sometimes things happen to us we feel its so hard to deal with..I dont think we think so well when under alot of stress and worry..Im glad to see youre reply that there has been a change for you..I remember once..I was having such a hard time..one thing after another..I was so down..I saw this poem ...it was called dont quit..it helped that day..hugs to you

    DS, I just have to say that if I did not love my friends here on DS I would be gone in a heart beat!  I am at my wits end of losing posts!  It seems like the Gateway thing seems to be a you problem.  How can we fix it?  I always make sure that I am online and signed in before I hit send.Welcoming any suggestions other than the ones that I recieved before.
