Just wanted to say HI. I just joined this group.

I'm Lauren, in Florida.

My hubby and I going thru rough financial times. I just am glad to have found this group so that I do not feel so alone. He hid our problems from me and now we may lose our home. This happened when I was a child, TWICE, and I tried so hard no to repeat the pattern of my mother; going to college, making sure not to marry an addict. But here it comes, all over again. It's like being in hell. I'm so distraught. I am trying to be strong. Hubby is weak, he's afraid. I am trying. It's all I can do.

Be encouraged. I have been where you are at as far as the home. I made it to the other side and you can make it also. Hang in there. You can make it. I know the feeling of being in a place that is like hell. You are dealing with a very heavy load of stress and if it is ok with you, you will be in my prayers. Faith

WELCOME everythingsfine...you will find great friends and a whole lot of support here. It is hard to stuggle financially, but we make it. We do. The good news is that the simple things are reborn, I swear. I take such pleasure in the little things now....

Welcome to DS Lauren. When I was a teenager, my dad lost a house to due to stupid financial decisions. I loved that house too! But, they found another one and they've been in it for about 20yrs now. They still struggle financially due to my father's stupid financial decisions and I know if it had been me, I might have been gone by now, but love has prevailed for the two of them and they always manage to find some way through! Lots of prayer helps too!

Hi, i am new too. and going thru the same thing, except i hide every thing from my husband, and keep it all to myself. i have found that you can only do what you can do. and that it! Be honest with your creditors, dont commit to payments you know you cant make, keep it simple, and try to deal with only one issue a day, not 5, it only makes things worse. try to take a walk, try to spend 10 min if you can to not think about it. I know this may sound dum, but have you ever read the book called the Secret? I really good at helping people, i just whished sometimes i could pratice what i prech.
