From England!!!! Starting to settle in and get used to the time change...
My first anticipated date has arrived with nice news. The date was Friday the 13th.
It was a payday for me and was kind of excited/interested to see how much it was as it had 29 hours overtime on it.
A very nice check.... but I was even more surprised with a Christmas bonus. It worked out to be one weeks pay.
So the deposit into checking was basically three weeks pay plus 29 hours overtime.
That money will sit in the checking account till I return. I will also be getting two more checks deposited while I'm gone.... those ones will be vacation time.
What's great for me is that I didn't plan on this money for my vacation... so it will just sit there. The only way I will use it is in an emergency.
When I get back, all three paychecks will be removed and put in savings and if done right, the cost for this holiday will be replaced in full and a start on next years vacation will start.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
My goal, has been traveling and it has become a reality because I have stayed out of debt.
Every time a person spends money with a CC or any money and has an outstanding CC balance, they are robbing from their future. Yes, you may have an enjoyable time right now but there isn't anything for the future.
I stay out of debt for the whole year with just this one thing in mind... to travel to England!!!! I don't make a lot of money and I'm far from loaded but during the year I watch every penny and right now, in my mind I'm making plans for traveling in 2014....
Highlight of my trip so far? My girlfriend's flat (English word for apartment) has a bathtub. My apartment doesn't. So I've been spoiling myself with baths.... LOL
