I care. I don't know what happens next for you. I think since it goes up for auction tomorrow, you will not have much time to get out, possibly just days. Do you have another place to go?? I have been in your shoes but we moved out before it went up for auction. sorry you are going through this. good luck.

There are many people in your situation, and it is just so disgusting that this is happening at such a high rate right now! I really hope you find a way to get through this, I cannot even begin to know how you feel, but just know that people care, and we are hoping the best for you in your impossible situation. Read some other posts, recommendations on resources available to you and your son. Try to hang in there!

Hey i really feel for ya. I'm going through it too. In mich, after the estate sale you have 6 months to reclaim the property. Which is not very easy to do. I'm down to a couple of weeks now. I have no idea what will happen. maybe you've already had your reclaim time idk all states are different apparently. Good luck to you regardless. If you feel anything like I do right now my heart goes out to you.

i'm so sorry about your situation, here in california things have gotten so bad, especially people losing their homes. in my block, i have no neighbors on either side of my home, and two from the front have lost their home, so a total of 4 houses are in repo. it's horrible. all i can say to you is, forget the house, i know easy for me to say, but you have to put yourself in that mentality in order to be sane, it's just materialism, find yourself another place to rent, or move in with family, thank god the kids can go with their mother, the important thing is to have a roof over our heads. god will never forsake you, he will always be there for you, but you have to help yourself too, trust in him and he will always be faithful. Don't worry he will take care of you he promised. Matthew 6:25-26 " Therefore i say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" you're in good hands.

I went through this two years ago. We moved out before the house went up for auction. I even went to the auction to see who got the house. The funny thing is, the mortgage company got the house. It thought that was weird. The best thing to do is move as soon as you can. I think if anything they give you thirty days to move.
If there is a reprieve its a paper work thing. It can take a while for them to get all the paper work together. If you don't pay what you owe then they will take the house, thats it in a nut shell. We moved into a rental before they sold the house. Move on as fast as you can. Its the only thing you can do....Good Luck...

We've had foreclosure started on us 3 or 4 times in the last 12 years. We filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy one time and spent 7 years to broke to cry. We've been out of bankruptcy for 2 years now and it seems we're behind on the mortgage again.

I had a friend tell me once it took upwards of 6 months to foreclose. She told me people stay in their foreclosed houses just as long as they can. Until the sheriff shows up and throws them out!!!

I don't know what happens next, but I understand where you are.

I'm sorry to hear of this situation...we are struggling w/ our mortgage too. Sometimes you have to hit absolute rock bottom before you can rebound and remember God will be there to help you back up. Learn from this and make it a project to really build things back up again. It's tough with the way things are these days, but just keep the faith and if you don't have the faith now, maybe it's a great time to find it :) Hang in there :)
