Oh wow. I went to my mailbox (Drove past the casino I self banned at) and so I get to it and find three letters.
Loan company, IRS and Insurance company. (I got scared when I saw IRS letter)
Loan letter into trash.
IRS letter "No problems, the check is good, keep it" (I'll wait till they realize it's not OK)
Insurance company sent me a check for the motel bills...What?? They were demanding receipts first! Then it hit me "You got a bundle!" and there went a trigger....BUT IT DIDN'T TAKE HOLD as I know I am banned from the casino.
I then went and bought some stuff for the homeless/poor and then went to Costco (Got a membership card) and OMG the prices! I got "Triggered" again. "Go, gamble and win more and buy lots!" But that same voice said "If you go, you'll lose and be in worse shape!"
The feeling has passed now. I'll wait till the check fully clears, then plan a careful disbursement to the 3 cards I owe on. I may also have my vehicle worked on...Power steering pump hs gone bad and I use a sealant to keep it quiet for a week....I'll get a quote on cost later this week....

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
