I did my taxes tonight on-line. I usually owe the feds a little money and recover that and make a little with the state return.
This year because I only worked nine months I got a refund from both. $637.
All of it will be deposited into my medical bill paying checking account. This should pay close to 2/3 of my present bills. This is great! I shouldn't have to touch any of my savings to pay these new medical bills off. And when it is said and done, I believe my deductible should be met.
It's crazy, it will be going to a bill. A bill that is current. LOL. In the past my refunds were used to pay bills from the past. A very nice feeling...

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I figure another week or two for the insurance company to send out the explanation of benefits to the hospital clinic and then they'll mail me the bill. I'm thinking I'll have till mid to late March to pay it.
That means four paychecks to come up with $441... if things stay the way they have been that should be no problem AND the best part is I won't have to touch savings.
Though I might put it on a CC to get a cash discount and another month to pay it...
