Congrats!!!!! What an accomplishment. I really need to start working on this. I just printed my credit report the other day and so now I have somewhere to start. Good job!

I found a very helpful debt reduction website

It has lots of calculators to help w/ debt reduction, savings goals, etc. Seeing how quickly I could become CC debt free was VERY motivating for me. Give it a try!

Hey, JokeyJ, have you seen "way"? Me, "will", "hope", and "faith" are looking, but can't seem to locate "way".
If you do find "way", please tell it that it's being sought in earnest by us 4.

BTW - I meant to mention earlier but I really like that powerpay website. I've used excel worksheets or other software to calculate a lot of this stuff and powerpay is the easiest and most concise I've seen. Thanks again for sharing that.

Since July 1, I have paid down my cc debt my over $1,000, paid off one cc completely and have put $250 in savings.

And stress levels are way down.

And we still have fun. We went to our county fair last night (had free tickets from my employer), enjoyed all the vendors and exhibits, listened to local bands, drank all the lemonade we could consume and indulged in an ear of roasted corn and in great burger. Hubby and I had a great time spending less than $25.00.
