I hate BOA - got rid of all I had with them long ago - still in trouble with others - economy killing me - going bankrupt - scary!

They lost one of my payment checks, then they discovered the long line of credit I had available on two of my credit cards that they took over from another company. It had nothing to do with the payment due on the third card. Later after they had chopped down my line of credit to uselessness, they found the check. One of the cards I have been using for my medical expenses, my mail-order prescriptions and doctor co-pays. I am on disability and hope that I don't need to go to the hospital in the future since the card doesn't have enough credit left on it to cover it. I'm alone and terrified. I am wondering what they will do next. I don't trust them and wonder how people can trust them with their money.

What ever happened to treating customers decently? I am slow to anger but what BofA did, still has me seething. I want to rip down ever BofA billboard I see. Times are hard, why do they insist on making things worse for people that have done nothing wrong? Because they DON'T care about them.

Yup. They screwed me on my Alaska Air Credit Card.
I'm one of those people who makes several payments a month, and I got slapped with late fees. I had to keep protesting them.

I don't use BOA but my best friend just had BOA increase the interest rate on her VISA card from 9% to 35%! She has never been late with a payment, never gone over the limit, etc.. They just did it because they could!
I told her to pay everything off, cut up the card but keep the credit line open and not use it and get a card from her credit union, where they do not screw you like that,

I am still there because I can't figure out anyone else's online banking. I have tried to leave because they have done minor meanness, while Wells Fargo/First Interstate are major bullies and thieves and liars and scammers.Have to bank somewhere, plus, they accommodate my autism and Wells, Wamu/chase, key, Sterling and others would NOT. Banks are difficult for me.

Thanks for the headsup on Wells Fargo, I haven't banked with them but was considering them. The one with the friend who had her VISA with BofA raised to 35%, I would ask someone why they did it if she was not late on a payment, was she over the limit on the card? Yes, banks can do anything they darn well please. Too bad we can't just keep it in the mattress at home. I gave up on trying to reason with BofA, it just upset me and is like talking to a brick wall.

Don't you love how taxpayer money bails out the banks and then the banks screw us?

This is just terrible, and it is the biggest shame. I recommend what another person recommended a while back. With this economy in the shape it is in and everyone trying to cut each other's throats instead of holding each other's hands, everyone should just say to hell with those credit card companies and not pay them at all. Save your money for YOU. They can't eat you, and they can't take away your birthday. To hell with them for what they are doing to so many. Now, wasn't this just the best advice? LOL :-)
