ph670, I will pray for you. Nothing is too hard for God. Being financially challenged is not easy and yes very painfully. For me it is also a learning experience.

You are a great mom and you will be able to care for your child. Whatever you are going through, just know, this too shall pass. Sometimes we have to go through some stuff in order to become stronger. I am learning from poor choices I have made in the past and you will too.

You have my support. Ten years ago I lost my marriage, my house, and my pets. I was left with a newborn, a crappy car, and a mediocre job. I made it. Was it a hard time? Yes. Reach out to family and friends try to build a support group. Talk to a lawyer about the foreclosure. My biggest financial mistakes have been the result of ignorance. Don't give up!

I can really feel for you in your situation. By this past May, my husband and I could not afford to pay one more mortgage payment for a house we had lived in for 26 yrs. We had to sell quickly and we bought a home that cost so much less in mortgage and other payments.

Why don't you look up on line for fiancial counselors, then check with the Better Business Bureau to check out their legitimacy. Don't connect yourself with a place that charges any money at first. There are places like this that are free. You will be asked to explain your financial crisis, and they will either come up with a budget or ways you can find an answer to your problem. Let your fingers do the walking online, and I bet you find some help. Also, there is charity care at hospitals for people without any money. You could see any dr. for free and you could check about finding a therapist to help you vent your problems to.

I have been there done that, and I am here to be on your side and provide you with encouragement and ideas to get you out of your mess. There is a way. Things happen for a reason, which is so true. When I nearly lost my house, I cried for so many days. It was a miracle that my 27 yr. old son came to my rescue. He helped me out financially without asking me for the money back. I never thought this would happen, because I always saw the selfish part of him. I am so proud of him and thankful for him now. Hope you find your "savior" too.

Try your county/state family services agencies (we used to call it welfare). It's hard but sometimes they can help or they can direct you to someone who can. Also try the Salvation Army, local church groups. You will probably have to do some digging, but there should be some organization that can help you. You're not alone in this.

But your State should help you since you have a child!! You can find out what or how to find help for you. Like housing,food stamps,and more.. Fight for your rights and don't take no for an answer.. Listen. don't get it twisted. Your child has a handicap, and i know about that handicap because my brother has cerebral palsy also. Go get help from the govt. your son may qualify for social security, and there are programs out there to help you in this situation. everybody falls on hard times now and again, Just on different levels. I feel for you, but you have to do what you have to do. and don't let the mortgage company push you around. the market isn't so great right now and they are trying to cash in on people when they get the chance. ask them to get a fore bearence i think it is called(I cant think of the word but when i do i will tell you). there is a loop hole in everything, but they are not always going to tell you.
