I keep wondering if my turtle there gives board members some erroneous idea of who or what I am. I only posted it because I wanted somethign that wasn't too personal and we had found this little cutie in our backyard so I had taken some pictures. They happened to be readily available when I joined DS, here. :-) How do you think of me when you see it? I'm thinkign of changing it.

JudyPrudy, I love your flower! It's very simple and fresh and hopeful looking to me.
I was thinking of putting up a pic of my "library" books. I was so lucky to have a little dream come true. A friend built some built in bookcases in one of the bedrooms; it is beautiful and that's where my computer if (where I am now) and where many of my books are. I love it. My little space. For now, I'm tired and lazy so the turtle stays.

I use a tiger, cuz I LOVE the LSU Tigers.....I grew up watching them play football, baseball, basketball.....graduated from LSU, and the phrase down here is "we bleed purple and gold" (the school colors)....so my avi is always a tiger in some pose!

I like your turtle. I have changed mine 3 times. At first I had just my dog. Then just me. Now me and my dog, maggie.
I do like seeing the different avatars and enjoy pictures of folks as well as things like PeaceN2You's book avatar and the different flowers and animals that people use. When I see a sad avatar, it makes me sad for that person because I want them to be healthy and feel good and not be sick and sad.
My avatar is me. When I first joined, it was one of my cats but I decided that I like to see what people look like so I changed to me. Boring but that is OK since I tend to be not very exciting :)
Now about my avatar and why did I choose it. Well I am for the most part totally alone and my rabbit is my companion. Yes I know it is rather different for a man to have a rabbit as a pet because for the most part it is women who adopt rabbits from rabbit rescue shelters, not men. Well my boy is a mans rabbit because most women who adopts a bun wants one they can pick up and cuddle, and my boy hates being picked up. Most likely he would have never been adopted if I had not taken him. Hey, I give him his space and it doesnt bother me a bit not picking him up except to clip his nails. The bun gave me something right off the bat when I brought him home. I didnt have to litter box train him at all, I just put down the litter box, he strait way jumped in and that was all there was to it. I was told at the shelter he was a very smart rabbit and I have found that to be the truth. Also, looking at a rabbit has a soothing effect on me for some reason, so there is that aspect to it as well. I already had a picture of him ready with a blacked out background ready as an avatar which I use almost everywhere by the way. Then I worked it into my user name that I go by here, Randy And Rabbit.
