Hi everyone. I'm going to make this quick today. My back is still very painful, I can't stay in one position for long-if I sit, my back throbs, if I stand, pain shoots down my legs. I took tylenol and 3 doses of expired gabapentin that was originally prescribed for a friend (they gave it to me last time I had a spasm this bad). It barely took the edge off. I'm strongly considering a doctor's appointment, usually for a muscle spasm I don't bother because I don't need to pay someone to tell me to rest, ice and take NSAIDs. But the pain shooting down my legs is worrisome. I won't really have time to go until tomorrow, unless things get much worse and I go to the after hours clinic. I'm not kidding, the highlight of my day yesterday was that I didn't pass out. But it makes me wonder why I almost did a couple weeks ago for a spasm that wasn't nearly this bad. Thankfully no surgery today, schedule doesn't look too busy yet, and I'm going to try to do as little as possible. I have an ice pack ready for the drive into work, and I'll refreeze it for the drive home. Not sure how much that will help but I guess it won't hurt anything. I also still haven't slept enough, I move a lot in my sleep (fibro makes it uncomfortable to stay in one position for extended periods of time, at least for me) and now I get pain shooting through my lumbar spine every time, it took until about 1:45 am to figure out the least painful way to roll over. My life is a fucking party right now. But since everyone thinks my pictures are adorable I'll post another-Koshka has disappeared on me a few times and I finally found her hiding spot behind the coats on my hall tree in the bin with gloves/hats, she looks annoyed because I moved the coats to see her and disrupted her cave.
