hey everybody! how's it hangin here?
today i'll be recording at a local tv station here called "Olelo" (Hawaiian for "speak") about fibromyalgia awareness and my organization (support group) does. i'm not a public person and i have never spoken on tv. i'm excited about the whole thing but just a bit nervous too.
to top it off, my bf;s mom has flown in here from Texas Monday to visit us and she will be at the studio with me to watch me record. she has had some doubts about me (and the fibro) in the past some couple years ago. she's been keeping me and Matthew So Busy! and we get no time alone lol, but that's a whole different subject... anyway, i really enjoy her company and she can be pretty fun. My mom and her get along very well and last night was their 1st time ever meeting each other (wewh).
mom is supportive of me and everything i do, so is my bf who basically does almost every house hold chore for me. lol. poor guy.
i'm very hopeful about this recording, and that it may help open people's eyes about the whole thing. or at least get the public to be more supportive. i figured that we shouldn't stay silent and just let poeple judge us anyway they think with out knowing ABOUT this horrible crap. if we don't have a cure yet, the least we could do is make some noise about it, right? that it will help get some attn and maybe more would be done about it. BUT at the minimum, more support from the every day people.
So Please wish me luck and pray for me that i do well! they will do a one time recording with no editing (for free). and i can get cd's of it made to take home as well. thanks for your encouragement and support!! YOU HERE ARE MY INSPIRATION! XOXO

OMG! that was crazy! i'll make copies of the cd for everyone. pm me if you want one with your name and adr and i'll send it. they said it will air about 1 month from now and they will air it 3 times then will use it as fill in when they have nothing on schedule. i'm so excited!!!
